mixes on mixcloud sound like record on wrong BPM (slooooow)

Hi all,

It’s been a while since i installed max2play on a raspberry PI3 and i like it very much!
Recently i bought a amp2 for it that drives my speakers because my old amp is very noisy.

Sometimes i like to play mixes from mixcloud and have problems with some streams.
Some streams sound like a record is playing on to low speed. The music is then pitched down and slow.

I also bought SB player to to connect to my max2play server and listen on my android phone.
If i listen to mixcloud mixes through SB player everything works fine.

Could it be a bug in max2play or the mixcloud plugin?

Anyone recognizes this or has the same problem playing mixcloud mixes?

Hi Maarten,

Thanks for sharing this issue. We have not encountered it yet.

However, in the slimdevices forum the issue seems to be known and has been mostly fixed by simple reboots or updates to version 1.4.

Let me know if these fixes work of you or not. 🙂

Thanks for your reply Heiner.

I upgraded to 1.4 but the issue was not fixed.
The post on the slimdevices forum did help me with not playing of items over the last days with the „human check box“ solution though.

Not all items play slow, but al lot do.

i’ll keep on fiddling.
