    Hello all

I am using Minidlna and have problem with Re-indexing music provided on a USB-Stick.
Pushing the button for Re-Indexing I got following debug info:
    DebugInfo:[ [2017/07/29 14:46:05] minidlna.c:153: warn: received signal 15, good-bye
    DebugInfo:[ [2017/07/29 14:46:05] minidlna.c:1004: warn: Starting MiniDLNA version 1.1.2.
DebugInfo:[ [2017/07/29 14:46:05] minidlna.c:1043: warn: HTTP listening on port 8200
DebugInfo:[ [2017/07/29 14:46:05] inotify.c:198: warn: WARNING: Inotify max_user_watches [8192] is low or close to the number of used watches [35] and I do not have permission to increase this limit. Please do so manually by writing a higher value into /proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_watches.
But the database is not updated.
    I found a workaround
1)Open a Shell and enter the command
    2)root@max2play:/usr/bin# minidlnad –R
DebugInfo:[2017/07/29 14:48:11] minidlna.c:919: error: MiniDLNA is already running. EXITING.
3)Press Re-Index button on the web interface
    DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:27] minidlna.c:153: warn: received signal 15, good-bye
    DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:28] minidlna.c:1004: warn: Starting MiniDLNA version 1.1.2.
DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:28] minidlna.c:354: warn: Creating new database at
    DebugInfo:/opt/max2play/cache/minidlna/files.db
DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:28] minidlna.c:1043: warn: HTTP listening on port 8200

    DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:47] playlist.c:125: warn: Parsing playlists…
DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:47] playlist.c:256: warn: Finished parsing playlists.
DebugInfo: [2017/07/29 14:48:48] inotify.c:198: warn: WARNING: Inotify max_user_watches [8192] is low or close to the number of used watches [35] and I do not have permission to increase this limit. Please do so manually by writing a higher value into /proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_watches.
    Now the database is update.
Has somebody an idea why Re-Index is not working
    Thanks for your Help

    Kind Regards
    Rolf

    Hi Rolf,

Thanks for pointing out this issue. We will try to recreate this problem with a tester and fix it in an upcoming release.
