Hi

It is just a message to say it’s now possible to use official adafruit piTFT 2.8 on Max2play distro.
Since beginning of september, adafruit’s team updated their repos and now we are able to use raspbian with kernel>3.18.
Just burn max2play image on your sdcard and run piTFT easy install guide (https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pitft-28-inch-resistive-touchscreen-display-raspberry-pi/easy-install, section „DIY Installer script“).
But don’t try to use max2play tft stuff, it doesn’t work.

Nice. I did it by installing there image that works with there screen and then the max2play script and that worked. I posted it here some place.
