    Hi,

    my Raspi is new and it’s great to see and hear what it can do in „living room entertainment“. But as I have it connected to a big screen (beamer), I would appreciate being able to use it as a screen globe, too.

    What do you think – would it be possible for a linux newbie to add „Marble“ to the RPI? I found a repository (https://repology.org/metapackage/marble/versions), but there are three different packages… Has anyone already tested to run Marble on the RPI?

    Mein Raspi kann mit M2P jetzt Musik abspielen, Videos zeigen (inkl. Karaoke-Videos von Youtube) und sogar ein bisschen Internet-Surfen. Mein Traum wäre, dass ich ihn jetzt auch noch als Wohnzimmer-Globus und Landkarte verwenden kann – mit dem Beamer schön groß. Wer hat sowas schonmal probiert? Kann das überhaupt auf der Hardware funktionieren? Und dann auch noch für einen, der noch nie ein größeres Paket für Linux kompiliert hat?

    Hallo FZ,

    Wir haben leider keinerlei Erfahrung mit dieser Software. Die einzige mögliche Version wäre die für Debian, dort müsstest du prüfen ob diese mit Raspbian Stretch-basierten Images möglich sei.
