M2P/Squeezebox on RPi3 controll by remote jivelite from different RpI3

Hi
I am in the testing phase of M2P system and I am wondering whether the scenario below is possible. If yes, I would like to ask for how-to advice.

Unit 1 (intended as player and library):
– M2P HiFiBerry DAC+ bundle connected to HiFi system
– USB HDD with MP3 music collection connected to the unit
– Max2Play with Squeezebox, controlled over web interface
– Spotify active
– on network via LAN
Unit 2 (intended as remote control of M2P players):
– Raspberry Pi with 7″ Touch screen
– Raspbian stretch
– connected over WLAN

Question: Can the Unit 2 be configured so that the unit 1 (player, sqeezebx) would be controleld using Jivelite user interface instead of web interface?

Sorry about the late response.

Yes, all of this is possible at the moment except for the Stretch image. But we will publish a beta version of our Stretch-based OS very soon and then this will also be possible.

You can check out help section and specifically its How-Tos section for some very similar setups and how they are configured.
