    I found some old 1B Pi’s in the cupboard and wanted to try player so installed M2P v2.56. A bit slow!
    I did not install and am not running LMS. I do not have a soundcard – for now just using headphone socket.

    However, I get the following error when I try to start Squeezelite..

    Cannot connect to server socket err = No such file or directory
Cannot connect to server request channel
jack server is not running or cannot be started
JackShmReadWritePtr::~JackShmReadWritePtr - Init not done for -1, skipping unlock
JackShmReadWritePtr::~JackShmReadWritePtr - Init not done for -1, skipping unlock
[08:29:51.205555] test_open:310 playback open error: No such file or directory
[08:29:51.206205] output_init_common:382 unable to open output device

    I tried on different Pi’s
    I run M2P and squeezelite on other devices OK.

    Hi wilsodg,

    Please try to select „sysdefault“ as output instead of „jack“ in the advanced settings of Squeezelite. Can you then launch Squeezelite and play audio via the jack output?
