Hello,I lose connection to the server via my Pi3 when I select radio option music from the squeezebox. I have to reset my Pi3 Hifiberry in order to re-establish connect. I have tried to find info in this forum as well as select options to have only one audio player running as I understand Pi3 only supports one. Why is this happening?
Hello,
Just a follow up on the previous post. This issue continues to happen as I try to sample various radio channels on my Squeezebox. I switch to another channel and M2P disconnects, I have to go and physically reset the pi3, the max2play still shows as connected on my router yet the web browser cannot reconnect. Any one else encounter this problem?
Hi Brrutherb,
Sorry about the late response. The Raspberry Pi 3 can actually support more than one Audioplayer at once. Wich is why we created the plugin MultiSqueeze to run multiple instances of Squeezelite on one Pi.
The dropouts of the radio might be connected to your internet connection if the playback of local music files does not produce any errors. You might want to try that out in order rule out this source of error. Also, you could try to use a LAN connection if you are currently using WiFi.
