Max2Play Home › Forums › Max2Play as Squeezebox (Player / Server) › IP Adress Problem Logitech Boom
Hello,
I`m quite new to Max2play and I have the problem that I want to use Max2play with a fixed IP Adress and Squeezebox Server.
But in Max2play you can set only 2 digits in the IP Adress at the end and my Logitech Boom needs 3 digits at the end.
192.178.222.XX and 192.178.222.XXX
How can I solve this Problem?
Thank you for your help.
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
The Logitech Boom should not require you to use a three character IP ending.
However, you can set an IP of your choice, with two or three characters at the end, if you are connected via ethernet and select and save it in the „Fixed LAN IP Setup“ under WiFi/LAN in the web interface. You might have to save your selection of an IP two times and it can take a few seconds to change, but we tested it successfully today and it should work.
