    Hey,

i planning to use the following pHat’s to create a standalone music player with max2play and a Raspberry Pi Zero:

    Justboom DAC zero pHat
    pisupply paPIrus pHat

for power supply, charge management and on/off i want to use the LiFePO4wered/Pi – shield

Therefor, i want to use the 5 hardware buttons of the papirus for
    -jump folder fwd
    -jump folder bck
    -jump song fwd
    -jump song bck
    -play / pause
(these buttons are directly connected to 5 gpio pins)
-volume control is realized over the justboom encoder feature

    main target is:
a headless, portable and easy-to-use music player without any use of a web interface or WiFi
with option to get the ePaper display working for song information.

    I also need to:
-load the music player/playlist at startup
-autoload newly added albums to the playlist
-get a working SD-card for rPi Zero with 32-64gB

max2play is working on my Rpi zero quite good, so i want to use it for this project
Has anyone done something similar before?
How can i implement hardware buttons in max2play with python?

    Dear randyMC,

    Thank you for your post.

We want to mention again that we dont provide any support for pHat, but we will do our best to help in order to implementing this project.

    Best Regards,
    Mohammad Mbydeen
