    Hi

    I am a newbie with Max2play.

    I have installed it in a RPi4 and is connected via usb to a ifi Zen Dac V2.

    Now i need help to configure the correct settings for this usb dac.

    Can anyone tell me what the best parameters to get the all type of formats this Dac provide?

    Hi Fernando,

    The DAC should be able to automatically read and play the formats. So you don’t really need to adjust any parameters. To use the DAC with Max2Play, select the output option „sysdefault…ifi…“ in the advanced settings of Squeezelite or Shairport (depending on what you want to use).

    Hi Mario

    I already tried it and what is happening is that all formats are being converted to PCM.
    For example the DSF 64 and DSF 128 files play but are converted to PCM.

    This is probably related to Squeezelite or the server converting DSD to PCM. Try adding -e dsd to the command line options in the advanced settings of your player (if you use Squeezelite).
