Tagged: Jivelite, LMS, Shutdown, touchscreen
Hi,
I recently upgrade my max2play Logitech Media Server/Squeezelite (LMS) on a raspberry configuration with a 7″ touchscreen.
Briefly my configuration is like this :
– max2play OS on a raspberry 3B+ with an active licence ;
– audiophonics DAC Sabre ;
– recently added a 7″ touchscreen for raspberry with jivelite in fullscreen mode.
The raspberry is powered by the DAC and the screen is powered separetly and the are no power button.
Here’s my question : I know that is better for the LMS that the OS was shutdown properly, so how do to this shutdown ? Is this possible directly thrown the jivelite interface ?
When I use the power on/off on jivelite nothing appens and I’m forced to unplug the power manually.
Thank’s in advance,
best regards,
aïo.
Just a short feedback from my side.
For the last five years ( … or more. …) I am switching my LMS server and player off and on on a daily base just by cutting the power.
Never had an issue.
Running LMS on a RPi 4 and multiple players on RPi3 and RPi zero.
