Max2Play Home › Forums › Max2Play on Raspberry PI › Help – New M2P Install – "Poping Sound" between SOME Songs
Hi,
Added my 4th M2P Player this weekend, latest config:
Raspberry Pi 3 B+
HiFiBerry DAC+ – Pro
Max2Play – V.2.46 – 11.04.2018
When switching between song on some tracks there is a loud Pop!!
MORE INFO:
I can recreate the „pop“ every time I go from this bit rate / sample rate: 199kbps VBR 44.1 kHz to 64kbps CBR
24.0 kHz. Not sure what it means but I „pops“ every time with the new HW/SW combination.
Also, if I remove the HiFiBerry and use the audio out on the RB3 it works fine…..
All the other players are working fine. Don’t know where to start, HW? SW? I’m not a technical user, just follow the directions to get everything working.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Charles
