I have 3 Raspberry Pi’s running Max2Play.
all on the same wired network
all 3 are doing what they’re supposed to do (controlled via LMS)
there was an update announced today for Max2Play, so I went about my usual task of
updating. first two went okay, but when I get to the 3rd one, I get the following message:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
Apache/2.4.10 (Raspbian) Server at 192.168.0.43 Port 80
I haven’t done anything specific to this unit, other than update Max2Play the last few times there was an update.
other than that, it’s been working just fine.
When I try and ssh into this particular one, I’m met with
user@usergroup:~$ ssh [email protected]
Connection reset by 192.168.0.43 port 22
update:
rebooted the Rpi. would ping but now not play anything via LMS nor allow web or ssh connection.
rebooted again and there was only a ping response. the device wasn’t showing up in LMS.
I have had a similar problem in the early days of using a Rpi with squeezebox (pre Max2Play days)
and it ended up being a memory card problem. So that is what I will try this time.
Hi radiomog,
Thanks for the quick update.
Please do let us know if the memory card was at fault if you find out.
