I recently signed up for a Spotify free period to evaluate their solution and I’m trying to ues it with my two Max2Play setups. The first solution I have uses an ISabre V3 DAC, it works just fine. However, I have another unit with a USB Dragonfly Red which I use for headphones. I cant get it to work at all. Spotify Connect see’s the device as hw:v10, and I have it configured as that, but it wont output any audio. It does work if I use the Spotty plugin for Squeezebox Server, but it doesn’t work well.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Stuart
Hi Stuart,
Do you mean hw:1 or hw:0? Those should be default slots for sound cards.
Have you tried deactivating the built-in audio, yet? Try doing this in the Raspberry Settings, rebooting and setting the output for Spotify Connect player to hw:0.
