Hello,
I have a working set up, all is good. most happy with M2P.
I am wondering if there may be more optimal settings to select in the GUI. at present I have sound card ’none‘ sounds great as is just wondered if I should change anything.
set up:
squeezelite running
pi3 running debian – ethernet
Xmos (usb to I2s) board connected to pi by usb and dac by I2S
ES9038q2m board connected by I2S
tube output stagethanks.

I don’t think you can make any optimisations for your setup via the web interface. Max2Play is designed primarily for use with HAT sound cards and USB sound cards. For the latter, we offer an installer in the „Raspberry Settings“ tab. Once this installation is complete, the audio output can be adjusted in the advanced settings of Squeezelite.
