Hi.
I use my RaspberryPi3 M2P device when staying in hotels to listen to music, but struggle to get it to connect to open WIFI networks. What is the easiest way to get the device to connect to an open wireless network?
By open I mean not using any security encryption protocols such as WPA/WPA2/WEP/WPS.
Thanks in anticipation.
Martin
Hi martyb,
Maybe you can try to connect to Wifi by entering SSID and an empty password, you can have a look at this link:

I’ve tried that using the web console without success. I think the limitation is in the web console rather than the O/S build but need an easy to use work-around.
Can anyone recommend an X11 utility that can be used to configure/maintain WIFI connections in Max2Play?
