Tagged: DLNA speaker, wireless sound output
Hi !
I have a DLNA speaker, working with wifi obviously.
Is it possible to use it as wireless sound output with Max2Play distribution on a rapsberry pi 2?
If yes, I cannot figure out how… I’ve been searching for hours…
Hi Pedro,
Yes there is a simple way to make this setup work. You can find the Max2Play plugin „DLNA Server“, which lets you install a small DLNA server with the option to directly give a path for your media files. Then, you can use simple Apps like BubbleUPnP to connect that server with your speakers as renderers.
You can also use the Squeezebox Server, it is also recognized as a server element by the DLNA apps.
