    I will have 2 RPI’s with M2P installed within the same network so from what I read one will need to have a different MAC

    I’ve tried entering a new mac in the ‚Configure LAN Mac-Address:‘ option in m2p but it never works, i still end up with the same mac address.

    Will a new install on one device give me a different MAC or do I need to change it somewhere else.

    Using v2.27

    So the 2nd RPI arrived and installed M2P and it’s does have a different MAC so not sure what the ‘Configure LAN Mac-Address:’ menu option is, maybe it’s just for WiFi only.

    Any clarity would be good.

    Hi Aleka,
    The option to change the MAC address is only an advanced option for users with very complex setups at home that might need certain MAC addresses designated to certain devices. If you do not enter anything, the system automatically designates different MAC addresses.
