    Hi,

I’m running Max2Play version 2.52 on an RPI3 to play out my music to a Bluetooth speaker (JBL Boombox).
This works fine until a reboot/restart of the RPI3.
After reboot I first have to manualy reconnect to the Bluetooth speaker (connect button on M2P Bluetooth page) and then have to restart the Squeezelite Audioplayer (start Squeezelite button). However the -B parameter of Squeezelite lookw to work also for starting the player.
I wonder if it is possible to create a script that reconnects the BT speaker after a reboot and eventualy checks the status of the player and starts the player when needed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards, Benny.

    Hi Benny,

We can confirm this and will look for a possible solution. So far, it has only been possible to reconnect if the Pi stays on and the Bluetooth speaker switches power status. I will pass this on to our chief developer and he will assess whether we can offer a fix for that in the future.

Edit: If Squeezelite is not running, it tries to start again after a short time when the autostart is set. However, it does not start if Bluetooth is set as the output, but no BT speaker is connected. If the BT speaker does not automatically reconnect to the Pi after restarting the Pi, the workaround would be to restart the BT speaker. After that, it should connect and Squeezelite should start after a short time.
