currently I am running the LMS on 8 RPi/Hifiberry-AMP2s and a dedicated RPi running M2P acting as server.
I use Spotify in a family subscription with a dedicated account for multiroom audio. Custom LMS iFrame on a tablet for central music control, iPeng for mobile devices.
In general I am fine with the setup – sometimes music stops playing and forces me to reboot the server, despite trying out different settings in Spotty.
It’s acceptable, but I was wondering what other recommendations you guys have: what streaming services work great in your multiroom-setups and/or have the best API/best support&maintenance (e.g., Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, Youtube Music). What clever features do you use? Parallel streams to different devices? Voice Control? Negative experiences welcome too of course.
