Tagged: custom-convert.conf, LMS, sox
Dear forum,
Help please !
I am trying to attenuate excessive bass from my speakers. M2P on a pi 3b with LMS installed. I have created a custom-convert.conf and placed it in ‚\etc\squeezeboxserver‘ folder. The contents:
# resampling to 24-192 and bass control
flc flc * *
# FT:{START=–skip=%t}U:{END=–until=%v}
[flac] -dcs $START$ $END$ — $FILE$ | [sox] -q -t wav – -t flac -C 0 -b 24 – gain -1 rate -v -I -b 98 192000 bass -20 100
It does not work ! The server log reports „[19-02-17 12:26:15.7282] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::_getCapabilities (178) Capabilities for flc-flc-*-*: syntax error in FT:{START=–skip=%t}U:{END=–until=%v}“.
Can anyone see the problem here ? I have tried updating sox and flac (sudo apt-get install sox / flac).
Hi willdebeest,
If you have not yet, please try reposting the request in the slimdevices forums. It’s largest community of Squeezebox users and a very active one, so you’ll most likely get a reply from someone who’s had a similar issue.
