Now having a free HDMI input on the TV I connected the Pi to have a look at Jivelite. It starts up ( I think) and displays a language selection panel. I can’t get past this as a USB mouse, connected to the TV (moving a rather enormous pointer) is apparently not recognised by the Pi. My level of understanding is so low I’ve no idea if it should be and perhaps the cable is not CEC compatible. The TV is Panasonic and CEC support seems to be contained in their VIERA link.
Is there a way to get this to work? I don’t really need it to be honest, just a ’nice to have‘.
