    I have a samba share from my router (Asus XT8) and I have problems mounting the base directory of the share. When I click the show Network devices I get the following

    //ZENWIFI_XT8-AC7 ZenWiFi_XT8
    //ZENWIFI_XT8-AC7/Scan storage’s Scan in Samsung Portable SSD T5
    //ZENWIFI_XT8-AC7/Backup storage’s Backup in Samsung Portable SSD T5
    //ZENWIFI_XT8-AC7/icons storage’s icons in Samsung Portable SSD T5
    //ZENWIFI_XT8-AC7/Jonathan storage’s Jonathan in Samsung Portable SSD T5
    //ZENWIFI_XT8-AC7/Movies storage’s Movies in Samsung Portable SSD T5

    I can successfully mount //192.168.50.1/Movies but not the base directory where all folders are found (//192.168.50.1/).
    I can mount the base directory on my Linux mint PC and on my WIN10 PC but not on the max2play rpi4

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Johan,

    The specification of the share name after the IP address is absolutely necessary for the mount to work.
