hey,
I use a audiophonics case made completely from aluminum. It works great, has a great look and integrates all components perfectly together in one case. Thats the positive thing about this case. The problem hereby is, that the internal (onboard) wifi of my Pi 3B+ seems to be to weak to connect to my accesspoint. So I want to use a wifi dongle (Edimax) on one of the USB ports.
I tried Volumio with that same hardware configuration before and there I could use the „external“ wifi device flawlessly.
Where in max2play I can define to use the external wifi device and not the onboard ?
cheers,
Martin
Hi Martin,
You can find this option in the „Raspberry Settings“ tab. It is called „Disable Default WiFi Interface WLAN0 on RPI3“. Note, however, that you may need to manually install the driver for your WiFi dongle beforehand.
