Yes, I am aware of the limitations while hdmi is connected to a monitor.

Last night I tried something different by going into ipad settings; networks; scanned and found max2play WAS recognised by the ipad.

I then entered the password to access the max2play network ‚mypasscode‘. The ipad3 connected to the pi and the M2P GUI popped up. I chose my plugins but was unable to load LMS.

The drop down box with available options was not working. Without LMS I was unable to load jivelite or any player for that matter.
