Hi

I don’t understand what you mean with “ It always boots to x-Windows“
The Pi boots if you see the jivelite surface on TV (per HDMI)
Then you can enter the M2P webinterface and do your settings
If i remember correctly in basic settings only Squeezelite runs on the Raspi
