You were right. We already work on this topic. And try to implement it with the next update. But since Raspbian Jessie the standard-browser doesn’t work any longer.
If you want to get a alternative browser install the remote control (it is a Max2Play Plugin), please. then enter the following into the terminal:
user:
pi
password:
raspberry
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
then
sudo apt-get install iceweasel
Now you can use firefox. It should be available in the main menu.
