If you want to use a player name just add this to the end of the file like this line:

ExecStart=/usr/bin/squeezelite -o hw:CARD=Device,DEV=0 -n nanopineo

So I got mine named nanopineo

Then restart it.

root@nanopineo:~# systemctl restart squeezelite

Right away the name will switch on the LMS.
