The face plate looks great! Looking forward to more updates 🙂

You can activate the HDMI hotplug in the Raspberry Settings to make sure that the Pi recognizes the HDMI connection.

You can also remove the tick at „LCD as Default Display“ to make HDMI the primary connection.
