Unfortunately, the Bluetooth technology varies heavily between different devices and chips. Thus, we cannot easily determine what exactly causes your issues.

However, what you try to do is minimize the interference of other signals in your vicinity and turn of your Pi’s WiFi module (remove the tick for WiFi interface in WiFi/LAN menu).
