    Hi Van,

    Max2Play’s current version is based on Raspbian Jessie lite. You can create an installer for Plex with our Plugin Builder:

    Hello

    i found a solution to install Plex Media Server.
    You must open a SSH session and follow this guide:
    https://wiki.mchobby.be/index.php?title=RASP-PLEX-MEDIA-SERVER-Installation

    I just put these commands:

    sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https -y –force-yes
    wget -O – https://dev2day.de/pms/dev2day-pms.gpg.key | sudo apt-key add –
    echo „deb https://dev2day.de/pms/ jessie main“ | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pms.list
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install -t jessie plexmediaserver -y
    sudo reboot

    Then i open web interface to set up Media Server Plex
    your ip:32400/web

    Hello fabien,

    thanks from me, too – do you know if it is possible to send the output from plex to a hifi amplifier via audio cable from the raspberry?
    Or is this a setup which makes no sense?

    I thought I could use Plex as an alternative to Squeezebox, but at the moment I don’t know how to get the music to the amplifier?

    Hi,

    just to answer my own question regarding Plex: Plex always needs a client where the stream is sent to. So the client must be built in like a Plex app in a TV or e.g. a Chromcast device connected to an amplifier.
