    Hello.

I’ve just updated to Version 2.38 (Raspberry PI) and found the following within the changelog:

Added update-button for Kodi on Raspberry Pi to update to latest version (Kodi 16)

So I tried, but it didn’t work:

    Fetched 7043 kB in 16s (426 kB/s)
    Reading package lists...
    --2016-12-05 21:02:35-- http://kodiupgradepi/
Resolving kodiupgradepi (kodiupgradepi)... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address 'kodiupgradepi'
ERROR! Given HTTP-Link to Kodi package does not exist! Please check URL kodiupgradepi
    finished

    Installation abgeschlossen!

http://kodiupgradepi/ cannot be resolved and google didn’t find anything for „kodiupgradepi“ (except Max2Play on GitHub)

Where can I get the right URL?

    Greetings, Rene

    Hi Rene,
I just tested it and it worked fine on a test device. The first few lines of the yellow text should read:
    Installationspaket: kodiupgradepi
Installation gestartet – Diese Meldung zeigt den aktuellen Status der Installation aller 3 Sekunden an. Wenn diese abgeschlossen ist verschwindet die Meldung und der Server läuft.

The package should not have a http://-prefix. Once you clicked the button, the installation starts automatically and the fetching of the data is refreshed every 3 seconds.

Same here V2.39, Raspi 2, currently kodi 15.1 running (yes, i’ve stopped the process before hitting the upgrade-button):

    Installationspaket: kodiupgradepi
Installation gestartet - Diese Meldung zeigt den aktuellen Status der Installation aller 3 Sekunden an. Wenn diese abgeschlossen ist verschwindet die Meldung und der Server läuft.
