I realize now that this post is probably placed in the wrong group. Sorry

    Here some additional info:
nsf and samba formerly worked fine with Xodi and Squeeze Plug.

This is how i connect from windows 7 to my music files on Freenas server

    adress bar: \\freenas\Share_music
    User: media
    pass : 123456

I hope someone can help me.

Still trying to mount cifs for the use in the Squeezebox server.
The debug shows me that the mounting succeed.
Unfortunately when i look in the Squeezebox server there are still no musicfiles.

tried to completely reinstall still no result.
Is there somebody here who can help me solve this problem?
    Please do.

    ok, problem solved.

Seems to be a hostname problem.
To solve this i did 2 things:

    1) placed the hostname* in my Freenas „Host name data base“
    2) Changed the name to the correct hostname in my router. (I use a Statische dhcp Lease in my dd-wrt router)

    *M2P Webbrowser: hostname = playername (settings/reboot)
