    Hello,

I have installed max2play on my Pi version B. My musicfiles are on my NAS and i have mounted succesfully.
Everything is working fine so far but i discovered one issue.
In midweekdays My NAS is down from 01.00 to 17.00 (when i am sleeping and working) so LMS is not connected to my musicfiles.
But when i try to connect ‚My Music‘ during this period on my SB Touch it fails ofcourse, but after that LMS become totally unresponsive and unreachable for a few minutes. I can not go to the LMS webpage. After 3 or 4 minutes LMS is running again normal.

    Any idea what causes this?

This is probably caused by the LMS‘ searching for preexisting files in its library which it cannot find anymore since the path is down. We would recommend either also shutting down the LMS during this time period or keeping your NAS active.

    Thank you Heiner.
Maby the ’slow‘ B version is also a little bit underpowered.
In the future think i will switch to a Pi 2 with a SSD or HD attached so that it can run for 24h a day.

    Hello Charles,

LMS on my Pi is just a test. Normally it run’s on my Qnap, version 7.7.2
This is the last official version from Qnap and not maintained anymore.

I know you can install 7.9 manually, but i’m a little bit scared to mess up the hole thing.
And running on a Pi 24h a day is easier and i don’t have to switch my players to Mysqueezebox and back to LMS all the time.

Can’t you try to do a script to shut down/start LMS at given times of the day (1:00 and 17:00)
