I am considering using max2play as an interface in to my HA system. I want to accomplish a few things with said interface. Some I know I can already do with max2play. My HA system is openhab. I have a custom web interface for UI. I would like to be able to have the UI available in kiosk mode. Then maybe from that UI be able to either swipe to another screen where jivelite is running (virtual desktops?) and then from there I could launch kodi if needed. after x period of inactivity I would like the screen (if not playing music or video) to go back to the web UI and after y period turn on a screensaver to basically turn the controller in to a digital photo frame.
the jivelite + kodi I have already learned works. Getting that 3rd app (web interface) is the next big piece. The other stuff for auto switching and photo frame are all bonus.
